(Exodus 3:13-18) And Moses said unto God, Behold, when I come unto the children of Israel, and shall say unto them, The God of your fathers hath sent me unto you; and they shall say to me, What is his name? what shall I say unto them? And God said unto Moses, I AM THAT I AM: (YHWH) and he said, Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, I AM hath sent me unto you. And God said moreover unto Moses, Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, The LORD God of your fathers, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob, hath sent me unto you: this is my name for ever, and this is my memorial unto all generations. Go, and gather the elders of Israel together, and say unto them, The LORD God of your fathers, the God of Abraham, of Isaac, and of Jacob, appeared unto me, saying, I have surely visited you, and seen that which is done to you in Egypt: And I have said, I will bring you up out of the affliction of Egypt unto the land of the Canaanites, and the Hittites, and the Amorites, and the Perizzites, and the Hivites, and the Jebusites, unto a land flowing with milk and honey. And they shall hearken to thy voice: and thou shalt come, thou and the elders of Israel, unto the king of Egypt, and ye shall say unto him, The LORD God of the Hebrews hath met with us: and now let us go, we beseech thee, three days’ journey into the wilderness, that we may sacrifice to the LORD our God.
(Matthew 28:1-7) In the end of the sabbath, as it began to dawn toward the first day of the week, came Mary Magdalene and the other Mary to see the sepulchre. And, behold, there was a great earthquake: for the angel of the Lord descended from heaven, and came and rolled back the stone from the door, and sat upon it. His countenance was like lightning, and his raiment white as snow: And for fear of him the keepers did shake, and became as dead men. And the angel answered and said unto the women, Fear not ye: for I know that ye seek Jesus, which was crucified. He is not here: for he is risen, as he said. Come, see the place where the Lord lay. And go quickly, and tell his disciples that he is risen from the dead; and, behold, he goeth before you into Galilee; there shall ye see him: lo, I have told you.
YHWH knows our situation. He knows our needs. He knows our desires and is willing to give you all that you want if you stick with the plan. His redemption plan. We must recognize that we are on a journey to the promised land. The new Heaven and earth. He shows us again and again his plan for us if we seek to know his will for us. YHWH taught us his redemption plan again through the deliverance of the Israelite from the bondage that they were in under the Egyptians. He could have wiped the Egyptians off the map with one breath but his design is to not only deliver us from physical bondage but from spiritual bondage and the only way to do that is to follow his Law. Now that Yeshua has completed his redemptive work, its up to each soul to acknowledge it, repent from sin, get born of the Spirit and to carry his/her own cross.
The plan was simple for the Hebrews. If they wanted to pass from bondage to freedom they were to obey Moshe who received his instructions directly from YHWH. The symbolism is clear. To pass from bondage to freedom, from death to life, from victim to victorious we need to yield in obedience under the command of YHWH. On the first Passover night the instructions were clear they did not have to understand but only obey. There is some symbolism that is deeper that brings enrichment to the soul and makes the journey more pleasant but this is just the tip of the iceberg. YHWH desires for you to have an earnest desire to seek and watch him in his glory that is hidden to the flesh. He is not hiding the deeper things from us but they are hid as a carrot on a stick for you to draw closer to him. The spiritual things of YHWH are completely hidden from the carnal mind. The foremost thing on our minds should be to be like Yeshua, to please the Father. On the Passover night, the Angel of death passed over all who were found to have the blood smeared on the top of the door and on the door posts. Yeshua was the Passover lamb for us, his blood cleanses men from their sin if they follow his instructions (The Word) repent and be baptized. The day after the Passover, the first day of the week, was the start of a new beginning for the Hebrews. Yeshua rose on the first day of the week, marking a new beginning for the true believer.
Three days journey. The number 3 is a significant number in the plan of YHWH, some things to recognize are; Moshe told Pharaoh that the Hebrews needed to go 3 days into the wilderness to worship, Yeshua lived 33 years, Jonah was in the fish’s mouth for 3 days and 3 nights, Yeshua was in the grave for 3 days and 3 nights, Yeshua fell 3 times under the weight of the cross but he got back up determined to fulfill the plan of YHWH, (Numbers 33:3) And they departed from Rameses in the first month, on the fifteenth day of the first month; on the morrow after the Passover the children of Israel went out with an high hand in the sight of all the Egyptians. The number 3 represents the Father Son and Holy Spirit, YHWH is one. The third letter in the Hebrew alphabet is Gimmel (ג), it represents many things, some of which are: God in three persons, the Ruach HaKodesh the third person of the trinity, movement, a rich man running after the poor man to give wisdom and riches, man of righteousness, The abundance of YHWH, the lifting up of thy head, restoration and fulfillment but today we are concentrating on the ladder two, the lifting up of the head, restoration and fulfillment, redemption. YHWH who is infinite and eternal, all knowing and all powerful from the beginning of his creation of man knew that man would fall into disobedience but He had already spoke into his creation a plan of redemption. YHWH the great architect and author of life from the beginning before he created Adam wove it into the creation process.
The first day of the creation of the earth and sky he brought the light and separated the light from the darkness and made the evening then the morning which represents Yeshua bringing light to dark world, a world void of the knowledge of YHWH and full of sin. If you notice, he didn’t make the stars and the moons until the fourth day. (John 8:12) Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life.
The second day he separated the waters from the waters and made a firmament and He re-made the heavens and earth. In this we can see that after Yeshuadied on the cross, he went to Sheol which has two compartments, Paradise-where the righteous were awake and captive and torment-the lowest part of Sheol where the unrighteous were captive. (Luke 23:43) And Jesus said unto him, Verily I say unto thee, Today shalt thou be with me in paradise. Yeshua separated the two taking the righteous with him to Heaven and leaving the wicked to wait the judgment and the second death. David prophetically sang this event in “(Psalms 24:7-8) Lift up your heads, O ye gates; and be ye lift up, ye everlasting doors; and the King of glory shall come in. Who is this King of glory? The LORD strong and mighty, the LORD mighty in battle.” Paradise Sheol is empty now because Yeshua took the believing saints to Heaven when he rose. Also “(Matthew 27:52-53) And the graves were opened; and many bodies of the saints which slept arose, And came out of the graves after his resurrection, and went into the holy city, and appeared unto many.”
The third day he brought the vegetation and the first fruits. YHWH created life out of the earth that would remain fruitful. The body of Yeshua was buried (planted) into the earth, he rose and ascended into Heaven, being the first to die and enter into Heaven in a new incorruptible body, returning to the Father. (I Corinthians 15:20-23) But now is Christ risen from the dead, and become the first fruits of them that slept. For since by man came death, by man came also the resurrection of the dead. For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive. But every man in his own order: Christ the first fruits; afterward they that are Christ’s at his coming.
Before the pass over night YHWH established a calendar with the Hebrews stating that this would be the beginning of the calendar year. The 14thday was the pass over and the 15th day, would mark a new beginning , leaving Egypt. 3 days after the pass over night which would have been the 3rd day of their journey a feast was established called the “day of the first fruits” which starts a new season. After they arrived at the Holy mountain where Moshe received the laws which included the festivals and feasts. First Fruits, also called Bikkurim in Hebrew, which occurs the day after the first day of Unleavened Bread , represents resurrection was ratified. The feast of the first fruits-This word identifies two festivals: Omer HaReishit(OH-mer ha-ray-SHEET),”sheaf of the first fruit,” which is part of the Passover week and marks the start of the barley harvest and Counting the Omer: and Yom HaBikkurim (YOHM ha-bi-kur-REEM).”day of the first fruits,”another name for Shavuot. (Exodus 23:19-23) The first of the first fruits of thy land thou shalt bring into the house of the LORD thy God. Thou shalt not seethe a kid in his mother’s milk. Behold, I send an Angel before thee, to keep thee in the way, and to bring thee into the place which I have prepared. Beware of him, and obey his voice, provoke him not; for he will not pardon your transgressions: for my name is in him. But if thou shalt indeed obey his voice, and do all that I speak; then I will be an enemy unto thine enemies, and an adversary unto thine adversaries. For mine Angel shall go before thee, and bring thee in unto the Amorites, and the Hittites, and the Perizzites, and the Canaanites, the Hivites, and the Jebusites: and I will cut them off.
This is a message of redemption YHWH has prepared a way for you, you must simply recognize that he is in control of all things. His ways are higher than ours, his thoughts are higher than ours, we only need to trust and seek him. He will show you your purpose. Walk in the plan he has for you and he will take care of all other things. YHWH heard the cries of the Hebrews and sent Moshe. They needed only to follow the instructions of Moshe. The journey to a new beginning starts with Faith and a fruit of faith is obedience. The Father hears your cry and he will guide you through the wilderness to victory and peace. He will extinguish the bondage that the enemy tries to place on you as long as you release the sin and or weights in your life. YHWH promised to destroy the yoke of the enemy like he destroyed the Egyptian army. The last enemy is death and Yeshuadefeated death in his earthly ministry and obedience to the Father. Yeshua did more than conquer in the body of flesh he defeated sin and overtook us (redeemed) us, (Revelation of John 3:21) To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with my Father in his throne.

(Jonah 2:1-7)Then Jonah prayed unto the LORD his God out of the fish’s belly, And said, I cried by reason of mine affliction unto the LORD, and he heard me; out of the belly of hell cried I, and thou heardest my voice. For thou hadst cast me into the deep, in the midst of the seas; and the floods compassed me about: all thy billows and thy waves passed over me. Then I said, I am cast out of thy sight; yet I will look again toward thy holy temple. The waters compassed me about, even to the soul: the depth closed me round about, the weeds were wrapped about my head. I went down to the bottoms of the mountains; the earth with her bars was about me for ever: yet hast thou brought up my life from corruption, O LORD my God. When my soul fainted within me I remembered the LORD: and my prayer came in unto thee, into thine holy temple.
