Knowledge to live by

Reference Scripture:

¶ My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children. As they were increased, so they sinned against me: therefore will I change their glory into shame. They eat up the sin of my people, and they set their heart on their iniquity. And there shall be, like people, like priest: and I will punish them for their ways, and reward them their doings. For they shall eat, and not have enough: they shall commit whoredom, and shall not increase: because they have left off to take heed to the LORD. Whoredom and wine and new wine take away the heart. (Hosea 4:6-11)

Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. (II Timothy 2:15)

For if these things be in you, and abound, they make you that ye shall neither be barren nor unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. But he that lacketh these things is blind, and cannot see afar off, and hath forgotten that he was purged from his old sins. (II Peter 1:8-9)

Why doesn’t everyone get it. There is only one way to YHWH and Yeshua is the way.  YHWH has been calling and drawing people back to him since Adam and Eve fell from their place in Paradise.  Throughout history we have found that some do, some don’t, some will, some won’t.  The Father gave Yeshua and Yeshua gave his life and then He gave the Holy Spirit.  The way in the Tanakh (Old Testament) was the priest, the law and the prophets.  Yeshua was priest and prophet and he fulfilled the law.  Now it is necessary for us to follow his example.  He said “This is my commandment, That ye love one another, as I have loved you. (John 15:12)”.  Those that are in Christ know who is in and who is not. “ Either make the tree good, and his fruit good; or else make the tree corrupt, and his fruit corrupt: for the tree is known by his fruit. (Matthew 12:33), For every tree is known by his own fruit. For of thorns men do not gather figs, nor of a bramble bush gather they grapes. (Luke 6:44)”.  There is no faking it or in-between, the word of YHWH makes it plain.  Only those who are not in and think they are in would not like this statement.  The older Saints may not have been very educated but this one idiom of theirs is true “ain’t nobody mad but the devil.”  The time is far spent for people straddling the fence.  It’s the way of YHWH or no way.  He makes his word plain. When you initially receive Yeshua, believing the Word and repenting from sin, not turning back to it like a dog would return to its vomit, 1 Peter 20-22, your earnest mission is to be filled with the Holy Spirit like the 120 in the upper room on the day of Pentecost and like many others exemplified in the book of  the Acts of the Apostles which is there as a guide for us as they were guided by the Holy Spirit.  Just as Yeshua was guided by the same.   The problem is that many have deviated form that truth and have their own interpretation. 

Yeshua said “Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me. (Revelation of John 3:20)”  This happens when you receive the Holy Spirit, an intimacy with the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit, much like Moshe when he was on Mount Sinai and all through the desert and wilderness obeying the will of YHWH.  We receive the Fruit and the Gift of the Holy Spirit and walk in obedience to the Father guided by the Holy Spirit  through the wilderness of life.  The benefits of Him supping (will Sup) with us is exemplified by  Psalm 23 and Psalm 103 both written by King David a man after the heart of YHWH.  The benefits of the Lord are his presence, his grace, peace and not frustration, strength and not weakness, joy and not sorrow, victory and not defeat in everything you do.  “And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper. (Psalms 1:3)”

Like the parable of the sower, there are some people who hear the word and don’t get saved for a myriad of reasons or excuses.  Some do get saved (Born again)  but never receive the Holy Spirit. Yeshua said  “Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot  into the kingdom of God. (John 3:5)”  Some receive the Spirit but never come to any depth in the Lord.   I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot: I would thou wert cold or hot. (Revelation of John 3:15).  Some  say, why is it not working for me. Many won’t admit that it is not working for them. You cannot receive the benefits of salvation if you don’t get closer to YHWH.  “Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double minded. (James 4:8)” You can’t “feel the fire” from a distance.  YHWH wants you to know him and not just of him.  Drawing closer means having a prayer life (not just saying prayers), fastings, witnessing and getting a deeper knowledge of his Word.  David meditated on the Law day and night.  Daniel and others prayed 3 times a day.  All things will work in your favor when you do these things.  You and others will know that YHWH covers you, you won’t have to prove it.  Don’t blame other’s if it’s not working for you, it’s according to your faith and walk with YHWH. YHWH is a re warder of those who diligently seek him.

Read the whole Bible several times, the early Saints didn’t have this luxury,  every scripture is backed up by scripture.  The mistakes, heresies deceptions would not occur if the Saints knew the whole Word.  Study to show (yourself) approved to YHWH, not that you can quote scripture. Lack of the knowledge of the Word has caused division and defeat.  YHWH has provided victory for you, he has provided prosperity(mind body and spirit) for you.   It’s all in the heavenlies.  You must believe it to receive it, live it and pull it down through the knowledge of the Lord, faith, diligence and obedience.  The Lord wants you to have it. Go and receive it.
