Take the Yoke

¶ Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light. (Matthew 11:28-30)

When Saints yield to the leading of the Holy Spirit, and preach the gospel, as Yeshua says, “theses signs shall follow.”  “And they went forth, and preached every where, the Lord working with them, and confirming the word with signs following. Amen. (Mark 16:20)”. When men are led by their own spirits they encumber believers with dogma, doctrine and denomination concerning themselves with honoring man, order of service, building temples, rituals and authoritarianism. There is a warfare for the souls of men and the Saints should be fully armored and engaged in it but too many are cumbered with their own preservation, and status among others rather that tending to the great commission. The Lord said that he would not give his Glory to another but millions of unlearned believers are worshiping a man.  Even the Angels shunned being worshiped by the patriarchs.

When YHWH confounded the language of the people of Babel they lost  unified communication and understanding between one another.  The people were no longer of one mind.  In losing unity of mind they lost strength and direction, they were scattered. When the Holy Spirit fell on the Apostles and disciples and when he falls and fills believers today a bond of unity is created. Individuals become one with YHWH Yeshua the Holy Spirit and the Church.  There should be no confusion and division divisiveness and deceit in the Church and most of all sin.  The great question is why is there so much division in the Church?  The answer is simple. The Lord confounded the worshipers of idols but he sent his Holy Spirit to to the true worshipers of Him. “Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come. (John 16:13)” and “ For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God. (Romans 8:14)”.  When believers are guided by the Holy Spirit which is the Head of the Church here on earth and not a man and their titles and their education and outward show of piety.  When Saints take on the yoke with Ha Mashiach  being in unity with Him and the Church they will please the Father, the work will get done and signs will increase. “And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers; For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ: Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ: That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive; (Ephesians 4:11-14)”.

Yeshua says, “learn of me”.  Even the Apostle Paul who was very educated in learning  and experience and  had a fruitful relationship with YHWH continued to yearn for more of Him.   He was  led by the Holy Spirit to minister and serve and not be ministered to and be served.  He was not lauded for being a Pharisees of the Pharisees or for sitting at the feet of Gamaliel but he maybe with some assistance of a thorn in his flesh as the scripture says  maintained a spirit of humility and served as a foot soldier in the army of the Lord until his dying day in the body. I will summarize the answer of Paul to the Corinthians in the  letter  1st Corinthians in the 8th chapter vs 1-3,  true knowledge leads to love and humility juxtaposed to pride and authoritarianism.  There is an ancient stronghold that has it’s grips on the possession of knowledge, positions of leadership and finance.  It’s a two pronged attack that consists of pride and lust  two devilish weapons that have brought down many leaders, spiritual and secular. Pride will block the entrance of understanding, it is a cloak on the heart preventing the light of the truth to shine forth.  The truth of the knowledge of YHWH.

Learning is achieved when there is an agreement between the teacher and the student.  The student must actively abide to what is being taught.  Listening requires an opening up and accepting the  teacher and what the teacher teaches in active hearing..  There must be a half duplex type of communication, one gives and the other receives.    Communication in mutual and accommodating  in it’s essence.  One speaks and the other listens. The teacher must convey evidential truth in authority.  The student must not have a preconceived view that does not stand on evidence. It blocks the door of understanding in the heart.  We are living in a day where there are too many opinions, views, sects, preconceived notions and lying spirits. Paul described it to Timothy , “For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; (II Timothy 4:3)”.  Itching ears means always wanting something new and different.  That’s okay when you are learning technology or the unveiling of mysteries but the Word remains the same, YHWH does not change.  Acknowledge your sin, believe the Word, repent, be baptized and receive the indwelling of the Holy Spirit.  Then you will receive the benefits of inheritance of the Kingdom and the Spirit will reveal to you the mysteries and things to come. 

Taking the yoke of the Lord is a coupling with him.  When the plowers went out to plow, they used two oxen.  A seasoned ox who was well trained and a younger strong ox.  The oxen were yoked together to plow the field under the farmers guidance.  We are commanded to serve the Lord by first leaning and learning of the Lord, getting to know him more and more through his word and our  labor as Christian soldiers.  The keys to the knowledge of Yeshua are repentance humility and acceptance of the truth, not leaning to our own understanding , opinion and interpretation.  The mind of the Lord is much higher than ours and people who were not led by the Holy Spirit have complicated and convoluted  things, Yeshua told the lawyers “Woe unto you, lawyers! for ye have taken away the key of knowledge: ye entered not in yourselves, and them that were entering in ye hindered. (Luke 11:52)” they made worship and serving YHWH difficult and blocked the entrance of true knowledge into the spirits of the people. Yeshua made it easy he did the work, step by step, line by line, precept by precept he taught us the way to Heaven and the Holy Spirit is Yoked up with us, failure is not an option.  There is a solution to every problem , there is a healing for the broken, there is stability for the shaken and when you are yoked in with the Savior he will give you rest abundance and eternity.
