Embracing your destiny  

Reference Scripture:

¶ As for these four children, God gave them knowledge and skill in all learning and wisdom: and Daniel had understanding in all visions and dreams. (Daniel 1:17).

O LORD, thou hast searched me, and known me. Thou knowest my downsitting and mine uprising, thou understandest my thought afar off. Thou compassest my path and my lying down, and art acquainted with all my ways. For there is not a word in my tongue, but, lo, O LORD, thou knowest it altogether. Thou hast beset me behind and before, and laid thine hand upon me. Such knowledge is too wonderful for me; it is high, I cannot attain unto it. Whither shall I go from thy spirit? or whither shall I flee from thy presence? If I ascend up into heaven, thou art there: if I make my bed in hell, behold, thou art there. If I take the wings of the morning, and dwell in the uttermost parts of the sea; Even there shall thy hand lead me, and thy right hand shall hold me. If I say, Surely the darkness shall cover me; even the night shall be light about me. Yea, the darkness hideth not from thee; but the night shineth as the day: the darkness and the light are both alike to thee. For thou hast possessed my reins: thou hast covered me in my mother’s womb. I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvellous are thy works; and that my soul knoweth right well. My substance was not hid from thee, when I was made in secret, and curiously wrought in the lowest parts of the earth. Thine eyes did see my substance, yet being unperfect; and in thy book all my members were written, which in continuance were fashioned, when as yet there was none of them. How precious also are thy thoughts unto me, O God! how great is the sum of them! If I should count them, they are more in number than the sand: when I awake, I am still with thee. Surely thou wilt slay the wicked, O God: depart from me therefore, ye bloody men. For they speak against thee wickedly, and thine enemies take thy name in vain. Do not I hate them, O LORD, that hate thee? and am not I grieved with those that rise up against thee? I hate them with perfect hatred: I count them mine enemies. Search me, O God, and know my heart: try me, and know my thoughts: And see if there be any wicked way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting. (Psalms 139:1-24).

There are  some things that every person must know about their existence on earth. The first is that YHWH is God Almighty, the creator and sustainer of all things, he has a plan, he has spoken it to his prophets and the faithful to give to all the world  and you must find yourself in it. You are created by YHWH himself. In eternity he imagined us before we were born into the earth It was true for the Prophet Jeremiah, it’s true for you. YHWH is all knowing, all powerful and all seeing. Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations. (Jeremiah 1:5) We are made in his shadow, what he does, we are supposed to do.

You must know YHWH, your gift and your destiny then YHWH will give talents (power and open doors) according to your gifts. Another person may frame the phrase as know your purpose and destiny but you can do nothing without YHWH.  A gift is something that is given and not earned and  you must know it, understand it and put work into it to perfect it and give praise and worship to YHWH for allowing you to have it.  From the beginning through the time of Yeshua, YHWH tied a person’s destiny by one’s name, who you are and your gifts. Adam, Jacob, Esau, Abraham, David, Yeshua.

Psalm 139 is a beautiful touching and compelling song of David’ s relationship, understanding and worship of YHWH. David is described as “a man after the heart of YHWH by Paul , referencing Psalm 89 written by Ethan the Ezrahite. Ethan praises YHWH and receives a revelation of the work and intent of YHWH.  He says “Then thou spakest in vision to thy holy one, and saidst, I have laid help upon one that is mighty; I have exalted one chosen out of the people. I have found David my servant; with my holy oil have I anointed him: (Psalms 89:19-20).  He continues to show how YHWH himself was with David in his exploits of valor and how the enemy would not hurt him. What is important for victory in life is to have an intimacy with YHWH through prayer praise and obedience to his Word (PPO)with the anointing. Everything  must be done through the Holy Spirit, he is our guide. Paul wrote in his letter to the Philippians in verse 3:10, “to know him”, his desire was to have so great an intimacy with Yeshua, enough to experience his suffering and his glory.  That there be no separation between him and the Messiah.  He later wrote in the 8th chapter of Romans that nothing could separate us from the love of YHWH.

The phrase “to know” means a sincere deep relationship and an assurance, the knowledge of something. Yeshua said “Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light. (Matthew 11:29-30).  To learn of him is to get to know him, the knowledge of YHWH is not the study of YHWH(Theology), it is obedience to him and the relationship with him that gives you power.  Power over the flesh, circumstances and your destiny.  Your destiny is victory in anything you do.  Your destiny is what you receive when you are yoked up with Yeshua and the Holy Spirit. In the agrarian society using oxen to plow the fields, the farmer yokes together a strong young ox with an older experienced ox, the young strong ox follows the old experienced ox and with strength and experience prosperity is achieved. (Prosperity is mind body spirit and finance.)  Wisdom is taking the knowledge and experience producing something fruitful and in our case pleasing to the Father in Heaven.  “And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper. (Psalms 1:3)”.  You supply the faith and obedience YHWH will supply the victory. If you show up YHWH will do the rest!

All  those who YHWH has called and who have prepared themselves, he equips blessed and glorifies.   

The Lord will fill you up with good things.  All that He created is good.  When he created the heavens and the earth , he said that it was Good.  For the LORD God is a sun and shield: the LORD will give grace and glory: no good thing will he withhold from them that walk uprightly. (Psalms 84:11)

Your destiny is also tied to your imagination.  You must construct your journey through life to succeed. Just as YHWH imagined us in the beginning and made us a shadow of him He gives us power to imagine, speak and create.  Look at athletes who when they were young imagined being in the big game brought their hopes(imagination) to fruition by staying with their dream.  (There are more sports than basketball). Look at the child, how he can play using his imagination.  Don’t loose that.

The Father is all knowing

He knows where you are from He made you

He knows where you are going

He knows your spirit mind and body

He knows your circumstance

He knows your desires

He is willing to give you the desires of your heart

He knows what you you are going to pray for

The Holy Spirit intercedes for you

Yeshua advocates for you

You are set up for victory

And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose. For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren. Moreover whom he did predestinate, them he also called: and whom he called, them he also justified: and whom he justified, them he also glorified. What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us? (Romans 8:28-31)
