True Knowledge

¶ My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children. (Hosea 4:6)

Grace and peace be multiplied unto you through the knowledge of God, and of Jesus our Lord, According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue: Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature,  And beside this, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue; and to virtue knowledge; And to knowledge temperance; and to temperance patience; and to patience godliness; And to godliness brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness charity. For if these things be in you, and abound, they make you that ye shall neither be barren nor unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. (II Peter 1:2-8)

The enemy comes in to destroy mankind through a lack of knowledge and deception that perverts and poisons  the Faith and mind of the believer like the venom of a snake rendering his victim helpless and causing death. Yeshua warned us in many ways and times.  The parable of the sower is one of those occasions where he reveals that the seed that is sown is the Word of YHWH and the enemy will attempt to choke off the growth of the knowledge ( right relationship and communication ) with YHWH before and even after Faith takes root in an individual.  Knowledge of YHWH is not just knowing scripture or quoting scripture.  The enemy knows the word also.  Knowledge of YHWH is right relationship and communication with the Father in Heaven in Yeshua and the Holy Spirit.  There is no happenstance or maybe  with salvation you are either born of his Spirit which makes you his or you are not.  The believer must first believe the unadulterated word of YHWH and continue with diligence digging deeper into the soil of Faith by willingly and diligently seeking the knowledge and presence of YHWH. The more you steadfastly yearn for the truth of YHWH and not with superficial religiosity or following  aimlessly to heresies and traditions of men that are not consistent with the Word of YHWH  you will grow as a tree who’’s roots grow deeper into to the ground with access to nourishment or like the  palm tree who’s roots grow linear into the soil giving the tree stability, its nature also gives it  flexibility to bend and not break from the winds of a storm.

We live in a time when the enemy is getting away with his crimes because those that follow him have put aside their knowledge of what is right, moral and humane. The signs are apparent. Spiritual fornication has risen and persists in the land. Practices have crept into the church created by man’s imagination and not the command of YHWH leading men astray instead of taking them on the pathway of righteousness 1 Timothy 4:1. Yeshua told us “And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold. But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved. (Matthew 24:12-13)  If you don’t know Yeshua you don’t know true love. Love is a spirit, love is and action word. Many people say they love you but  they don’’t love in return.  Jeremiah the Prophet warns us “¶ The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it? I the LORD search the heart, I try the reins, even to give every man according to his ways, and according to the fruit of his doings. (Jeremiah 17:9-10)”  When you know the Lord you know that the fruit of Love comes from him and we must learn how to truly love by turning from what the world says and turning to what YHWH says. YHWH through the Prophet Amos says “Hate the evil, and love the good, and establish judgment in the gate: (Amos 5:15a) Don’t be deceived , we need the knowledge of YHWH to travel this journey trough the wilderness of this age. The word inspires (induces with spirit) to ¶ Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths. (Proverbs 3:5-6).  Too many are living by what they believe and not by the knowledge of YHWH inspired by the Holy Spirit.

The Lord has made and will keep all of his promises that he made to us.  He is faithful to his word and to his Saints. If we walk in the knowledge of the Lord he will fulfill those promises as he says in the passage above that we are partakers of the “divine nature (like Yeshua) having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust (infidelity of spirit and body).” When we are filled with his Spirit and walk in obedience he will fill us with all of these good things “ knowledge temperance; and to temperance patience; and to patience godliness; And to godliness brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness charity” and when the storms of life roll up on us like a flood, they won’t over take you because the Lord has lifted up a wall and a shield and a sword and a standard against the enemy and you can tap into all of the protections at the twinkling of an eye because when you know him, he is with you and you are hid like Moses in a cleft of the Rock and his hand covers you and his goodness is all around you.
