YHWH is One Yeshua is Lord!
In 1970 the Temptations performed a song called Ball of Confusion. The song addressed issues of the time such as violence, racial tensions political corruption and other social problems. One line of the song says “Well, the only person talking about love thy brother is the preacher And it seems nobody's interested in learning but the teacher”. This song was written 55 years ago and the problems depicted in the lyrics continue to exist today but more intricately. I would add a lyric that describes the political situation of today to say that nobody is interested in the constitution but the founding fathers. The terribly “bad kids” in charge of the government are stepping all around the constitution quite boldly and without excuse causing a trickle down affect, to use a republican idea, from the white house to the governors mansions of some red states. A host of politicians, judges, administrators and boosters have total disregard for the heart of the constitution to the point that they have left out the first three words of the preamble of the declaration of the independence of the United States of America, We the people. They have shifted it to be not about the people or the states anymore, its about keeping political seats, pun intended, and loyalty to the President which was never intended. There is now a thin line of separation between the powers. The only loyalty in a powers sense is that of the President’s picks for his administrators. The senators and representatives owe their loyalty to the people and the constitution even as the President owes the same.
These new Anti-Federalist are trampling over the foundations of the Republic and this confusion is becoming a catalyst for it’s implosion. First there is a falling apart of the substance that holds the entity together. Because the constitution is an organic document it is subject to change and adapt to present particulars but it is yet stringent and there are ways written into it in order to change it’s form properly. One thing that the writers of the Federalist Papers believed, knowing that there are vulnerabilities in such a large endeavor was that virtuous men and women would uphold the tenets and responsibilities to provide leadership of social moral and economic integrity. This would prove to be the foundation of the republic but virtue is what is lacking today in many of those who hold office and when all of the virtuous folks are voted, push, gerrymandered and cheated out of office and administrations then the foundation will crumble.
Publius (Alexander Hamilton) who lived in the Victorian age and associated with rational thinkers did not foresee the present unthinkable. They weren’t naive to think that it could not happen but were unaware of the powers of evil that would grip the nation. Publius wrote this: “The process of election affords a moral certainty, that the office of President will never fall to the lot of any man who is not in an eminent degree endowed with the requisite qualifications. Talents for low intrigue, and the little arts of popularity, may alone suffice to elevate a man to the first honors in a single State; but it will require other talents, and a different kind of merit, to establish him in the esteem and confidence of the whole Union, or of so considerable a portion of it as would be necessary to make him a successful candidate for the distinguished office of President of the United States. It will not be too strong to say, that there will be a constant probability of seeing the station filled by characters pre-eminent for ability and virtue. And this will be thought no inconsiderable recommendation of the Constitution, by those who are able to estimate the share which the executive in every government must necessarily have in its good or ill administration. Though we cannot acquiesce in the political heresy of the poet who says: "For forms of government let fools contest—That which is best administered is best,"—yet we may safely pronounce, that the true test of a good government is its aptitude and tendency to produce a good administration.”
― Alexander Hamilton, The Federalist Papers
Many Americans have chosen the wrong person to be their leader. All responsible employers when hiring someone or investors when choosing an active investment takes into consideration the history of the subject’s performance in large percentage among other things. Past performance and experience will give you some insight on future performance. Why didn’t the American people (the employer) sincerely consider the past performance and the intangibles of number 47 before hiring him? He has deceived himself into thinking he is doing something to profit the nation but he is potentially leading it into bankruptcy. It has been proven down through the ages and up through the present that men can be deceived into believing anything and fall into error. The scenario has been repeated several times over throughout history. The position of leadership in any office is vulnerable and weak to power itself. The person who lacks integrity and virtue is most vulnerable. The leaders of the strongest nations are the greatest victims being unaware of the dark prince of the power of the air who has the utmost power over the unbelieving although nothing can happen unless YHWH Almighty gives his approval. Like Nebuchadnezzar of Babylon who thought he was so great as to conquer the world, he was not aware that he was only a vessel in the hands of YHWH. Unless the elected officials yield to the mighty hand of YHWH the nation will crumble but the righteous will be saved because everything that is happening now is leading up to a grand culmination.
If the elected officials aren’t standing on the foundations of the institution whose foundation they stand on it is in jeopardy of imploding. Some by misinterpreting the law others by overtly breaking the law in the highest offices of the land. James Madison wrote in Federalist 57 “There is in every breast a sensibility to marks of honour, of favour, of esteem, and of confidence, which, apart from all considerations of interest, is some pledge for grateful and benevolent returns. Ingratitude is a common topic of declamation against human nature; and it must be confessed, that instances of it are but too frequent and flagrant, both in public and in private life” indicating that these elected officials should consider it an honor to hold their office in gratitude and service to the people". This should hold true today but the representatives and the senators rarely seek to serve the common citizen unless they are looking to be elected. That is not to say all of them but at least of the present faction who’s whole intent is the fracture the opposition, fracturing the institution in which they serve.
Pray for the nation.
