Strong delusion, lies and conformity but YHWH keeps the Faithful

(II Thessalonians 2:1-12 [KJV])
Now we beseech you, brethren, by the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and by our gathering together unto him: That ye be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as that the day of Christ is at hand. Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;  Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped;  so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God. Remember ye not, that, when I was yet with you, I told you these things; And now ye know what withholdeth that he might be revealed in his time. For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way. And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming: Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders, And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.

People en mass these days are being deceived by lies and aligning themselves with wicked leaders. There many who call themselves Christians who sincerely think they are  but  have not received the gift of the Holy Spirit which is essential to the Faith and because they have not received the gift they are susceptible to the deceptions of the evil one. Their imagination can become polluted and they are weak towards following false leaders philosophies and false doctrine.  

The Apostle Paul warns us in II Timothy 3:13 “But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived.” They are not only leading people into damnation but they are being deceived by the adversary believing what they propagate is true.  There is nothing new under the sun.  These are the same spirits that reigned during American slavery,  Jim Crow and oppression.  Many Europeans and colonizers truly believed that Africans were subhuman until the blinders were removed from their eyes by the grace of YHWH through the prayers of the true Saints giving a foundation to the civil rights movement down through many years and climaxed through the leadership of the Prophet Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.  Today many people are drunken by strong delusion who’s cousins are lies and spirits of conformity.  Paul tells us that these deceivers and their machinations will increase.  We are to never let our guard down.  The spirit of deception works on the emotions like a swindler,  convincing you to believe one thing when his intentions are to steal your virtues while he is gaining power over you.    

In the text above according to the covenant YHWH had with the Israelite,  it was true that Ramoth (the High place) in Gilead belonged to the Israelite people but they had fallen into disobedience and lost it.  Ahab was initially good King, he did well by way of commerce, politics and civil exercise like construction of buildings and roads,  the exception was his religious laxity which caused the people to be disillusioned.  Because of his weak spiritual will he was influenced by the a woman who brought in the spirit of idolatry into the kingdom.  Elijah prophesied his death in I Kings 22:28 and it came to fruition in I Kings 21:19.  King Ahab spoke on the promise of YHVH but they had not fulfilled their end of the covenant.  Don’t claim the promise if you haven't fulfilled your part of the covenant.  Because of their delusion and self indulgence, they could not hear the true Word from God Almighty.  Their vision and reason was cloudy.   

Even though reason cries out in the street and wisdom proves them wrong they became embolden in their delusion much like today. They ignore the obvious and escape to a world of self indulgence and self idolatry.  The real truth is obvious but the people choose the absurd thing.  They would rather believe a lie than the truth.  Some turn their head away knowing that corruption is being perpetrated all around them.  Indifference and apathy has a hold on people, that is why it takes something tragic to awaken the masses, yet not long after they fall back into an even deeper sleep. (Isaiah 66:4[KJV]) I also will choose their delusions, and will bring their fears upon them; because when I called, none did answer; when I spake, they did not hear: but they did evil before mine eyes, and chose that in which I delighted not.

The deceivers wants you to be  “shaken in mind” and “troubled”  by what you see and what you hear.  Their tactic is to keep you “unsettled”, staggering and wavering,  doubting and wondering what is to come next but Yeshua has settled us “(I Peter 5:10 [KJV])But the God of all grace, who hath called us unto his eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after that ye have suffered a while, make you perfect, stablish, strengthen, settle you. “ we are not called to be shaken and troubled .  The prayer of the righteous Prophet Isaiah says  “(Isaiah 26:12 [KJV]) ¶Lord, thou wilt ordain peace for us: for thou also hast wrought all our works in us. “ And you can sing the millennial song “(Isaiah 26:3-4[KJV]) Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee.
Trust ye in the Lord for ever: for in the Lord Jehovah is everlasting strength:”.
