The Cross Before the Crown

YHWH is One Yeshua is Lord!

(II Samuel 6:12-18 [KJV]) And it was told king David, saying, The LORD hath blessed the house of Obed–edom, and all that pertaineth unto him, because of the ark of God. So David went and brought up the ark of God from the house of Obed–edom into the city of David with gladness. And it was so, that when they that bare the ark of the LORD had gone six paces, he sacrificed oxen and fatlings. And David danced before the LORD with all his might; and David was girded with a linen ephod. So David and all the house of Israel brought up the ark of the LORD with shouting, and with the sound of the trumpet. And as the ark of the LORD came into the city of David, Michal Saul’s daughter looked through a window, and saw king David leaping and dancing before the LORD; and she despised him in her heart. And they brought in the ark of the LORD, and set it in his place, in the midst of the tabernacle that David had pitched for it: and David offered burnt offerings and peace offerings before the LORD. And as soon as David had made burnt offerings and peace offerings, he blessed the people in the name of the LORD of hosts.

(Matthew 21:1-9 [KJV]) And when they drew nigh unto Jerusalem, and were come to Bethphage, unto the mount of Olives, then sent Jesus two disciples, Saying unto them, Go into the village over against you, and straightway ye shall find an ass tied, and a colt with her: loose them, and bring them unto me. And if any man say ought unto you, ye shall say, The Lord hath need of them? and straightway he will send them. All this was done, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the prophet, saying, Tell ye the daughter of Sion, Behold, thy King cometh unto thee, meek, and sitting upon an ass, and a colt the foal of an ass. And the disciples went, and did as Jesus commanded them, And brought the ass, and the colt, and put on them their clothes, and they set him thereon. And a very great multitude spread their garments in the way; others cut down branches from the trees, and strawed them in the way. And the multitudes that went before, and that followed, cried, saying, Hosanna to the Son of David: Blessed is he that cometh in the name of the Lord; Hosanna in the highest.

(Psalms 118:22-25 [KJV]) The stone which the builders refused is become the head stone of the corner. This is the LORD’S doing; it is marvellous in our eyes. This is the day which the LORD hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it. Save now, I beseech thee, (Hosanna)O LORD: O LORD, I beseech thee, send now prosperity.

(Zechariah 9:9 [KJV]) Rejoice greatly, O daughter of Zion; shout, O daughter of Jerusalem: behold, thy King cometh unto thee: he is just, and having salvation; lowly, and riding upon an ass, and upon a colt the foal of an ass

Yeshua the only begotten son of YHWH was King, Priest and Prophet in his earthly ministry.  Yeshua was born a King, he is King of righteousness, he is the righteousness of YHWH enacted through his coming to the earth, being born in flesh and performing the will of the Father without sin.  This was also witnessed by the appearance of the wise men who brought gifts fit for a King.  He exercised the role of a  prophet in preaching to men and women the good news of the grace of YHWH. Foretelling of the coming kingdom.  He was Priest in his ministry to the Father becoming the propitiation for man’s sin, he himself was the sacrifice offered up to YHWH.   When Yeshua entered into Jerusalem 5 days before his passion the people cried out “ Hosanna to the Son of David;  Blessed is he that cometh in the name of the Lord; Hosanna in the highest.”, quoting the Psalm of David of which they said daily for 7 days at the feast of Tabernacles while they marched with Palms and other branches around the alter.

They marched around the alter on the 8th day of the feast also, this was called the great Hosanna.  Hosanna הוֹ¦שׁ (hoh-shee-ah you) ...יָשַׁע  means deliver , save us.  They were expecting Yeshua to save them from the strong arm of the Roman empire immediately.  They had not fully understood the words of the Prophet Zechariah who’s words were inspired by the Ruach HaKodesh to give them foreknowledge of his first advent on the earth in this instance.  They did not consider when the Spirit said “lowly, and riding”. Although he specifically told them where and how he could be identified. He did come initially to deliver the Jews from their sin.  You must repent and be baptized in the Spirit before you can enter into his kingdom.

YHWH has a purpose for your particular predicament if you are in his will. Blessings are the fruit of your trial. The cross comes before the crown.   The Jews were treating him  at this time as though he were the King and deliverer that he was but did not truly understand his purpose.  Yeshua had to go to the cross before he would claim his title as King.  This is why he exclaimed when he rose,  “ I have all power in my hands” because he had won the victory over death and hell, he had attained the keys to set us free.

The night comes before the day.  On the Jewish calendar the day begins at nightfall.  Midnight is not the beginning of the day. The seed has to be planted into the earth, buried before it springs forth as a fruit bearing organism. The olive must be pressed before it yields the essential and multipurpose oil. Yeshua first came as a servant to free us from the yoke of bondage, sin.  Once freed from sin, given liberty and power to live righteously pleasing the father, we follow in the King’s footsteps,  carrying our cross until we get our crowns, robes, new bodies, new names and  new shoes in the new kingdom where he will reign forever and ever.  Whatever predicament you are in,  know that YHWH is wanting to get the glory out of your life and will delivery you while you are in it.  When you come out of it you will know that he has given you the strength that brought you through it.  When we first get saved, it is all joy but as Yeshua said in the parable of the sower, the trials of life come and try to choke your faith.  That is the moment when you need to dig deeper into your well of faith.  Faith comes by hearing the Word of YHWH and he will strengthen you.  The trouble should not be a struggle. Know that the King is near and he has already provided you with the gifts you need to succeed.  YHWH knows your predicament and if he knows, then he is going to do something about it and the end is victory for you to his Glory.  Be of good courage in the battle.  Fight with honor,  skill and hope. Rebuke with the word anything that comes against his joy.  His joy is unrelenting and full of glory and will quench any dark spirit.

Praise is important while you are in your predicament.  The enemy wants to stop your praise because praise pleases the Father and is an indication that you are trusting in YHWH. Praise him at his presence and in the presence of YHWH is Prosperity= (mind body, spirit, health, wealth and wisdom), everything you need.  YHWH chose David because he was a man after his own heart meaning that David was righteous in his dedication to the will of YHWH.  He made some mistakes along the way but his strongest desire and intention was to Praise and do the will of YHWH.

David saw the Obed-edom, a philistine, was being blessed because he was in the presence of the Ark of the Covenant.  David “went and brought up the ark of God from the house of Obed–edom into the city of David with gladness.” He danced in Praise and offered sacrifice to YHWH.  Praise and prayer are necessary and strengthening in your journey.  Praising YHWH in the name of Yeshua who because of the cross that he bore allowed us to go beyond the veil into the Holy of Holies literally into the presence of YHWH.  In the presence of YHWH is all the blessings, fruit and gifts that you need for success.
