The past is gone and it’s conversation

And you hath he quickened, who were dead in trespasses and sins; Wherein in time past ye walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience: Among whom also we all had our conversation in times past in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind; and were by nature the children of wrath, even as others. But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us, Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;) And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus: (Ephesians 2:1-6)

The Lord made man in His image and His likeness and the redeemed of The Lord are compelled, commanded and should earnestly strive to live up to the standard of being a called out one.  One thing that we should know is that what you say has an impact on your life and the life of others.  As a Christian you have the power of the tongue.  Even the word of sinners have an effect but not like the power of a Spirit filled believer.   We often quote Proverb 18:20 but we should not neglect the precursory portion of the text which  emphasizes  the power of the precept.  “A man’s belly shall be satisfied with the fruit of his mouth; and with the increase of his lips shall he be filled. Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof. (Proverbs 18:20-21). Your words will bear fruit, they will have a negative or positive consequence on your situation. Of course words are audible images of your thoughts and imaginations, what you have constructed in your spirit.  The liar constructs lies, the kind person expresses words of kindness, the devious devises trickery. Yeshua says “Not that which goeth into the mouth defileth a man; but that which cometh out of the mouth, this defileth a man. (Matthew 15:11)”. Those who are good will speak good. A little leaven leavens the whole lump.  Don’t say good things to me while I’m in your presence and then destroy my character to other people when I’m not around.  Doth a fountain send forth at the same place sweet water and bitter? (James 3:11). According to the text, our past , sinful life is dead.  Too often we resurrect the pasts in our minds because  memory is part of your brain.  It is difficult to forget the pain of the past just as it is difficult to forget the joy of the past, the good and the bad joy.  We must learn how to deaden the pain,  let it go, don’t  speak of them, the power of YHWH is much greater than the past.  Let him wash away the spiritual, mental and physical pain.  There is nothing hard for YHWH. The Apostle Paul give us encouragement and a guide to achieve the goal of letting those troublous things go, “ Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before, (Philippians 3:13).  In Yeshua better id in front of you, healing is available, prosperity (mind, body and spirit) is for the Saint.  Abundant and eternal life.  Think and speak good things, speak life healing and love and it will take root and germinate by the promise of the Father.

According to the text, conversation relates to the life you lead.  The Saint has lived BC  (before Christ) and AD. (after deliverance).  Two different conversations, the old dead life and the new living life, the newness of life in Christ.  When you come into the new life you come into a new culture that includes a new perspective on life, the way.  Yeshua is that way, we have this comfort, “Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. (John 14:6).”  Paul says it this way,  “Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new. (II Corinthians 5:17)’.  Many of us are still holding on to the past.  Some intentional and some unintentional.  When we acknowledged our sins, repented and were filled with the Holy Spirit, we were delivered from evil and YHWH keeps us from evil, he keeps us by the power of the Holy Spirit which is His life giving, life sustaining force.  It seems that we forget that He is “all that” living in us. Some of us have spiritual bruising, some have mental bruising and the side effects and residuals are haunting but know that you are not alone. Just as the the body has a support system that heals itself so does the body of Christ.  We must lean on the power of the Word of YHWH and other Saints to see us through.  YHWH has provided complete healing, Yeshua did it on the cross.  His blood washed away our sins, you must apply faith to it.  His stripes healed our bruises, mental spiritual and physical, you must push like the woman with the issue of blood and create in your spirit a plan of faith and execute it because faith is dead without works. Speak a future of peace healing and prosperity , preach it and be a witness to it.

The Lord made salvation and deliverance simple. Yeshua did all the heavy lifting and as The Apostle Paul says by the Spirit in the text, “and hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus”. YHWH intended for man to live in paradise and His will be done.  Love not the world and the things of the world. The hearing of the Word of YHWH must be mixed with Faith which includes acts of obedience to it.  When we do this The Lord will give the increase and you will grow.  When you please the Lord mountains must move, bitter waters become sweet, walls fall and the dead are raised.  Faith comes by hearing the word of YHWH, active, persevering and constructive hearing will cause an increase in faith and favor with YHWH and men.  The past is dead and everything that came with it, believe that.  Speak new things, new love, new bodies, new gifts and the Lord will back up his word that you are speaking because he promised it and The Lord YHWH Almighty fulfills all of his promises!
