¶ Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen. (Matthew 28:19-20)
Matthew 28:19,20 is considered the “great commission”. the command from our Chief Officer to do as he did. That includes, healing, teaching, exercising compassion and being a witness of the wonderful works and nature of YHWH. Yeshua made it simple. He gave all Saints (Holy Spirit filled believers) the ministry of reconciliation. To do as he did. Compel men and women to to come to Him who is the bridge between man and YHWH. We are commissioned to point men and women to Yeshua. He says “¶ Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light. (Matthew 11:28-30)”. When you fully believe in Ha Mashiach he will give you power to fulfill your mission. “And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever; (John 14:16)” the Holy Spirit with you for eternity. For all of those who are filled with the Holy Spirit waiting on your ministry, this is it, be a witness. To further simplify the task he told the Apostles and disciples that the Holy Spirit would come and be their guide in all things of truth and he prayed for your success. You cannot fail when you trust in him. “Neither pray I for these alone, but for them also which shall believe on me through their word; That they all may be one; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us: that the world may believe that thou hast sent me. (John 17:20-21)”. Yeshua passed the baton to the Apostles and disciples and through millennia it was passed on to us and in turn we pass it on. Someone must believe him through your witness.
We must constantly be mindful that YHWH has called us out from the world, the wickedness and destruction to come. You cannot focus on the mission if you are encumbered distracted attracted and enticed by the lust of the flesh. We do not serve the flesh, we serve YHWH in Yeshua. “I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God. (Romans 12:1-2)” The way of the world is not the Way of Yeshua. Throughout history many have built systems that are not consistent with the great commission because of conformity, driven by complacency focusing on heady and rudimentary dogmas and rituals instead of the simplicity of being led by the Holy Spirit. Putting believers into bondage instead of compelling men to come to Ha Mashiach they draw men to themselves or some other philosophy claiming their way is the only way to YHWH. Following Yeshua is the only way to YHWH. They set themselves up as judges over those that don’t practice their denomination. It is not much different from radical Islam who’s beliefs call for death or taxation or both if you don’t convert to their religion. Instead of following the command of Yeshua and the examples of the true Apostles by going out into the world and compelling men to come to Ha Mashiach, to Love YHWH, love your neighbor as yourself they attempt to boost their membership by wrestling Saints from other denominations into theirs. It is still true that in the United States that Sunday is the most segregated day of the week. When that was spoken by Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. the segregation was by ethnicity. These days it is by religious denomination. It is vexation that Saints, filled with the Holy Spirit discriminate against one another. The perpetrator will point fingers and find fault.
We are also required, inspired and should have a desire to worship YHWH. Worship is more that praising YHWH in a minor key, to a slow song. Worship is a way of life. “But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him. God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth. (John 4:23-24)”. Worship YHWH with a pure spirit, a pure heart. You cannot worship YHWH with a heart that discriminates, a heart that has bitterness, a heart that believes and perpetuates lies, you cannot worship YHWH living sinful otherwise you are offering up “strange worship” which YHWH dispels and is contrary to a sweet smelling savor to the Lord on High. Too many saints believe that gain is godliness which is why so may people get conned by ministries in error. It also causes some people to think too highly of themselves, “For I say, through the grace given unto me, to every man that is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think soberly, according as God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith. (Romans 12:3)” which is a fleshly trait, ungodly. The Lord requires clean worship and witness, sanctified in him, separated from sin and focused on his will that all men be saved and come to the knowledge of the truth.
Yeshua spent his whole life on earth pleasing the Father. He didn’t worry, he wasn’t anxious, he did not sin. He did everything that the Father called him out to do with joy compassion and Love. He spoke through David when he said, “ Then said I, Lo, I come: in the volume of the book it is written of me, I delight to do thy will, O my God: yea, thy law is within my heart. I have preached righteousness in the great congregation: lo, I have not refrained my lips, O LORD, thou knowest. I have not hid thy righteousness within my heart; I have declared thy faithfulness and thy salvation: I have not concealed thy lovingkindness and thy truth from the great congregation. (Psalms 40:7-10). He finished the work that he set out to do and the Father covered him. He promised us that if we believe and obey that he will cover us. YHWH is a rewarder of those that diligently seek him. Seek to know him, seek to do his will, the work he has for you daily and he will reward you more. If you are born of the Spirit you have an earnest of your reward and there is much more.
